There are ususally a lot of activities and things going on on move in day, so if you can get it done before hand it frees you up to attend some of the information sessions geared specifically for parents. You would go to the tent to pick up your grren book if you order one, a copy of the most recent catalog, if they are considering doing laundry service vs doing their own laundry (let them learn how to wash clothes, the will survive). In addition, there are always little last minute things you need to pick up, if you order your computer through Dartmouth, you will have to pick that up on move in day.

Sybbie, already have a spot at a frat ($$$)

I must have misread that...Did you say LAUNDRY SERVICE??????

Between class, the library, and the pool, I might not have time to wash my clothes...

How much is this "LAUNDRY SERVICE?"

Thank the LORD!

If Dartmouth uses E&R cleaners, you're probably better off doing your own laundry anyway. This company is awful- they lose your clothes, return things with color stains, and charge ridiculous prices for dry cleaning.

I know many people who are EXTREMELY busy, and still manage to do their own laundry. It's not that hard, really!
