I am finished with SATs, have my scores, and know several schools which I will apply to.

Should I send them now, or wait until I apply?

Should I send them now, or wait until I apply?

uh bumppppp

I think wait till you apply. But I'm not sure. I also want to know because im becoming a senior next year

You should have indicated when you signed up for the SAT which college you want to send your scores to. These colleges should have your scores right now and you shouldn't have to send them manually. If you did not indicate any colleges when you signed up and took the SAT (don't know why you would do such a thing when you can send up to 4 for free...), then you'll have to manually send them using collegeboard.com.

I personally would recommend waiting a little bit until you're 100% sure of all the colleges you want to apply to before you send them off (you may change your mind on a college and have just wasted money sending your scores to them). Just make sure that they get them in before their deadline.

when you tell them to send them do they send them by mail or via email? I know this is a dumb question, but I don't know much about the whole process

I'm pretty sure they mail them, but I'm sure they also add them to your online account/profile for that university.

Well, you have to pay $15.00 per school to send scores. COLLEGEBOARD is such freakin greedy.

I didn't choose which schools to send to, because when I took the test, it's the end of my junior year, and I wasn't sure which schools I wanted to send them too. Furthermore, I didn't want to send scores when I was unsure of how well I did. But I guess I'll have to pay for it now! Dang.

I'll ask my counselor.

my scores weren't so hot but i sent the scores to four schools anyway. so i dont have to pay for it later
