Well then, looks like it might be tied to admission. Can any parents or students confirm?

Definitely can’t confirm anything and I would lean towards thinking it doesn’t correlate to the admission decisions due out this week. My son did receive both emails and we are in Ohio. He did check yes on FA. Hope that helps and best of luck this week.

basically dying waiting for this notification! any ideas on what time on the 18th?

also, read on another thread that somebody saw that they got an email about financial aid that made it sound as though he/she got in, so he/she checked his/her my nova account and was made aware that he/she did, indeed, get in. i would think that the financial aid email that this person was talking about was the one about the workshop, since the first one did not make it sound as though we got in. just some thoughts?

guys stop trying to figure out clues as to whether or not you were accepted. No one is rejected. Everyone is either accepted or deferred. So relax. Things will work out in your favor.

I know I want to believe that second email means something, since I got it. I am definitely super nervous though, this school is my second choice, and I didn’t get into Notre Dame (which was my 1st!)

michaelm11:
My son is in a similar situation as you. He got deferred to RA by Boston College which is his first choice. Villanova is his 2nd; therefore it’s absolutely important that he gets in.
