When does USC's RD decisions come out?

The backdoor worked on the evening of the mailing date in the past - it was almost as though they put everything in the mail and then did the update at the end of the day.

*The “backdoor” doesn’t always work for accepted students - some who could not log in received the package.

**The “backdoor” may or may not go active tonight. We know USC admissions looks at College Confidential every now and then and they may choose to wait a few days to activate the link for newly accepted stiudents.

***Don’t give up YET!

I live in India
and people I JUST got the e-mail ! like 15 seconds before I posted…I’m pretty sure everyone else will get them soon…and the tracker hasn’t even been up yet…its giving me this msg…

“Tracking numbers for today’s shipments may not have entered into our tracking system yet.”

Has anyone’s application status changed on their USC connect account?

mine is still the same

@Sparkles

I live in Pakistan. Did you get an email or the packet?

I also got the email from DHL saying that a package is on its way. And just like sparkles, the number isn’t entered into the DHL online tracking system yet so I think they JUST sent out the packages. Also, don’t worry guys because according to sparkles, the email was sent around 30 mins ago while mine was sent around an hour ago. So yes, I think its in waves.
:)

@ South My S’s (non-inernational) status is the same "Undergraduate Application (Part II, Fall 2011) We have received your application, and it appears we require no additional information at this time…

So no change one way or the other, as I would have expected. I’m not going to try the backdoor link.

@sparkles: im from india too!! hmmm…lets see :/

Another note for worried International applicants: It is only 8:40 in the morning here in California - so the admissions staff has been at work for less than an hour at this point! I am sure there will be LOTS more news as the day goes on and more information is entered into the system :)

alamemom you are incredible!! tks for your support… every second is killing me!!! I can’t stand it. Wish all of you the best!

I am so excited for you all! Good luck everyone! BTW- my son’s status still says the same thing. It never changed in January when he was accepted. The thing that did change for us was there were two extra boxes when you log into USConnect. One says Enrollment Commitment Deposit and the other RSVP for Admitted Student Programs. Perhaps someone who got the DHL email can check to see if they have these two boxes.

@Minhas
I just got this e-mail…
DHL Shipment Notification

Greetings from DHL!

(Please do not reply to this email address since it is not monitored for
responses)

On March 22, 2011 a shipment label was printed by Al Padilla
(XXX-XXX-XXXX) of USC for delivery. The
shipment number of this package is XXXXXXXXXX.

I’m still getting scared though…has there ever been a DHL notification for a Rejection ? :S

^ Nope :)

So exciting! Good luck to each and every one of you. I so remember this time last year. I think the mail man was frightened of me.

Remember Wheaty’s mailman thread??? I think I will bump that - it was sooooo cute.

@scott1993 – I just think it CAN take 2 days. IF they mail today at 5, it should be delivered in the LA area tomorrow but not always. The mail is funny sometimes.

Alamemom- any sense of whether scholarship decisions will go out today too. They said “about two weeks” when we were there on the 11th. I wonder if that means we will hear in two weeks or they will be mailed in two weeks. We are all the way on the other side of the country…

I can’t wait to read this mailman story :slight_smile:
If the packages are mailed through DHL, approximately how many days will it take for it to get to China?

Other universities have sent me their packages through UPS & Fedex and I have never received an email from the courier. Does DHL mail every recipient? Or is it possible to get the package without an email?

DHL’s and DHL emails are just for international applicants. There is no advance warning email for those in the USA. USA packets come via USPS Priority.
