It took only two days to get to me, and I live in the South East USA

It took 4 days to get here in January and we are in North Carolina, so be patient!

I still have a question about internationals. So if we get a DHL notification does that mean we’re accepted?

I’m an international student who applied for scholarship before 1st December, 2010
Is it normal that I haven’t heard back at all?

@Putturani: From what I’ve read, yes. They don’t send rejection letters by courier.

@andrewliu93: Yes, it’s normal. Many (I can’t remember the exact number right now, so sorry) do not get scholarships but still gain acceptance. And sometimes the letter saying that the two big scholarships will not be awarded to you was just lost in the mail or something. Doesn’t necessarily mean acceptance/rejection.

International student… haven’t received any e-mail either :(

Sparkles,

It may already be the 23d where you live, but the admissions office is still not open in Los Angeles, California time. It will not open for two more hours.

Hi, Georgia Girl, is the mail coming out 22nd? how long does it take to arrive in LOS ANGELES?

Scott: it’ll take one day to arrive in Los Angeles. So the package will arrive the day after it’s sent.

Check the Businessweek website. For their rankings, they breakout the business school statistics, including SAT scores and acceptance rates, if they can find them.

A note for scott19931223 - I recall that you mentioned you are an *International *applicant living in Los Angeles. There was a bit of a quirk in the admissions mailings last year - the “type” of mailing was determined by applicant classification (domestic vs. International) rather than by destination address. So domestic applicants living abroad received the US Mail Priority mailings and International applicants living in the US received the DHL package.

In either case, your notification should arrive quickly, but it is something to keep in mind if your progression differs from other Los Angeles-area applicants.

OR, they may have fixed that little quirk and determine type of mailing based on destination this year, not applicant classification.

Continued good luck!

Thanx Georgia Girl
I JUST GOT THE DHL E-MAIL ! WOHOOOO !!! :D

Will I be able to check online before I get the envelope/letter? If so, when will the update my status? I’m growing very impatient!!!

AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!! FINALLY! Sparkles - maybe you should start a new thread with that news - the sleepy USC forum could use some excitement!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

*Remember to wait to have the package in hand before posting on the stats thread!

im an international student…if sparkles got the DHL email and i didnt, does it mean i got rejected??? … @sparkles: where are you from?

international and no DHL email.
oh well :(

Does this mean backdoor should work at this point for all who are accepted? because it’s not working for me!

The DHL emails came out over the course of the day in the past - don’t give up yet. Remember, they are sending LOTS packages, and it takes a bit of time to get them all entered into DHL’s system.

Hope you hear soon!

Oh my God, I am not breathing my heart already stop!!! international, no DHL notice… Oh My God!!! This is first choice for D!!!

And here we go…
