I’m still waiting on USC (applied for BFA Acting, although I realize now I’d rather be in BA Theater Arts with the MT minor - hope they seriously consider me for that second choice) and I was wondering why exactly everyone thinks they were all mailed at once instead of in waves like usual? Where did that information come from?</p>
<p>there were mailed yesterday i think. A friend of mine said his aunt who works at Usc said she went out to lunch with some members of the admission board and they were stoked cuz they sent them out yesterday…</p>
<p>I don’t understand why USC doesn’t want to let people know via e-mail. I just found out I got into Rice online I’m excited rather than nervous that my letter got lost in the mail. I think everyone here would agree that they’d be relieved to be able to find out their decision right now.</p>
<p>Just curious, but did anyone here apply to Pepperdine University? I did and was, sadly, waitlisted :(. Since Pepperdine is my second choice, and USC is my first, I REALLY want to get into USC! Like lots of you, I’d be crushed if I got rejected. I’d probably end up going to Tulane instead…at least they accepted me lol!</p>

<p>So this is actually my first post, I’ve just been kind of stalking the boards of the schools I applied, haha. I’m crazy nervous about USC and really hope the decesions were mailed yesterday. </p>
<p>Anyway, today I got an email telling me that they need more information about my parents for financial aid and my Dad called the office because he’s been handeling all of my financial aid info. and the office said they needed more infomation to make sure the financial aid package would be correct, (btw they didn’t say when but the decesions will deffenitly or were deffinitly mailed this week), if they want more info for financial aid is that a good thing? My thought is that it would be pretty stupid to go through the trouble of getting more info if II’m just denied anyway, right? Idk my Mom and Dad said not to get my hopes up, any thoughts?</p>

<p>When I visited USC back in November they said they didn’t have EA or ED because they felt that it was unethical</p>
<p>USC started participating in QuestBridge this past year so I think thats the only “ED” option for USC</p>
<p>@maengel: I’ve had the same thoughts about financial aid, too! My parent’s tax forms have been pending for four weeks, which is double the length it says it should take until stuff is “received.” This has made me really worried about whether or not I got accepted because I keep thinking about how, if they rejected me already, they probably wouldn’t go to all the trouble to verify my financial aid info still. There’d be no reason to do so. In addition to checking the mail and my application status, I’m also constantly checking to see when these forms will stop “pending”…</p>
<p>USC Connect portal is down/unavailable</p>
<p>@Crim USC requested additional forms like 2 weeks ago and they were pending for a week…I found it odd that they would request almost 40 pages of forms 2 weeks before the notification date</p>
<p>I really wish USConnect would hurry up and start working again! All of my anxiety about it is keeping me from studying for my Calculus test, and from preparing for a Heart of Darkness discussion (to anyone who’s had to suffer through this book: I feel your pain haha)</p>
<p>So many schools now are doing the whole “admission decision online or by email” thing…why can’t USC join in on this? Why oh why must they torture us!!!</p>
<p>^I had to suffer through Heart of Darkness too! I feel your pain. And now I am waiting for a DHL email but don;t have much hope now. So my pain is acute.</p>
