Yeah…although I switched my last and my first name by accident haha

^ It will qualify as a “sign” if there are some who can’t enter their information. Bad news for those who can’t, but verification of sign-ness for those who can.

@alamemom, do you mean the whole big huge form after the initial sign up or just the sign up where you put in your basic info? because i feel like they let anyone do that and if it turns out your USCID isnt in their system, they delete it so it will take a little time to find out whether or not this is an indicator

So I’m stuck at home on a snow day…in late March… One more reason I need to get a USC acceptance haha.

I can’t believe that a backdoor hasn’t been found yet. Good for USC that they’re keeping the leaks under control, but for the rest of us…

Haha! I dunno! I have no access to an application or USConnect - my comment is that if there is something an applicant can log into (in this case it is the housing registration?), it only qualifies as a “sign” of acceptance if there are only some who can log in/fill it out/etc. If all of you can fill out the form - as much as I would LOVE to hear you ALL have been accepted - it probably does not have any predictive value.

Sorry for the confusion!

What would be the best way to go about infiltrating the USPS? I was thinking of either going with the classic sneaking into mail trucks on the freeway approach.

That may work… Have fun identifying your truck though!

Ps, has anyone noticed the grammar mistake in the title of this thread? When DO decisions come out, not does. Sorry, it’s just been bugging me :p.

@Jasonvdm, I noticed it too, but had to read over a couple times. It sounds like it really is grammatically correct, though. Because of the apostrophe after USC, it becomes a possessive. So “does” is right.

Unless I’m completely wrong hahaha.

— I am My bad

If you see your Mailman on the way to school this Morning, ask him for the mail. I have done it and they have no problem doing it.

^^^ I have the same thought every time I see this thread :). Someone could start a new thread waiting for the packages and searching for signs - the “when” question of this thread seems to have been amswered: TODAY

P.S. wowacow - “decisions” would have to be singular for “does” to work :)

^ or two more long agonizing days for me in snowed in Wisconsin…

Where are you from? Trying to identify if DHL notices respond to regions…still hope!

^ Only Internationals get the DHLs, US applicants get US Priority mail.

If i move out to Canada today, will I get DHL notice?

Eh, that might work, eh?

^^^^ Sorry guys, I started the thread, and you may criticize me for being such an ignorant applicant as to confuse “do” with “does.” I noticed the grammar mistake minutes after I posted the thread, but then I was like, “ahh, forget about it.” My sincere apology to all of you guys if that bugged you all along. :)

Anyways, I DO hope that the mail comes today (I live in SoCal). Good luck to everyone else on this thread!

You better be sorry man, I’ve received irreparable emotional harm from the mistake :(

My lawyer will contact you within the next few days.

^^ You would not believe how many typos I have floating around this place… Junebin, your thread has been the MOST popular thread on the forum for weeks - and the title has made it easy to find! Sorry if it seemed like criticism - good luck!

I THINK USC WILL NOT ACCEPT YOU BECAUSE OF THIS MISTAKE.

Only joking of course :D. It’s not a big deal, I just had to vent :p

@BigKev, hahaha and I’d better hire a lawyer on my own in order to prepare for the lawsuit that you will file in the next couple days. But then, I’m not very rich, so don’t expect much from me :)

@alamemom, it’s very good to know that my thread has been the most popular one for past few weeks! Thanks always alamemom for your incredible amount of knowledge about college admissions process. You seem to know awful a lot about virtually all of the top schools in the country. Maybe that’s because your 2 daughters applied to top 50 schools when they were applying for college? haha
