Really nervous about tomorrow! I’ve wanted to go to USC since the 7th grade! best wishes to everyone!

i got an email from DHL last night! does this mean that I am for sure accepted?

@omairw (how do you quote here? O_o)

I don’t think internationals are notified any differently from the U.S. applicants. Slightly earlier, maybe.
Well first, I received an email notifying me that a DHL package from USC was headed my way. A day or two later came the package. Nearly a month later came the scholarship offer (even though it was postmarked a day after the original package). Good luck! (:

@abro12: Well, I wouldn’t go as far as to say it’s ‘for sure’, but a little reasoning will highlight how unlikely it is that they would send anything other than acceptance packages using DHL. Let us know when you get the official word!

I am an international student. I applied for scholarship before December 1st, 2010. I haven’t heard anything until just now when I received the DHL email. Does that indicate that I did not get the scholarship?
In the meantime, which address does the school send the DHL to, our home or our school?

I tried the USPS estimated delivery time, and it says:

Expected Delivery 3 - 5 business days

Also my package weighs 1lb

How do you check the USPS estimated delivery time?

@andrewliu93: I can’t say with any authority what it implies about your financial aid, but I’m fairly certain that they will send it to your home address. I haven’t heard of any cases from any college where admission notifications were sent directly to the school. That would be potentially humiliating (to the applicant and his peers waiting on theirs)!

[USPS - Calculate Postage](http://www.usps.com/tools/calculatepostage/welcome.htm)

I know USC uses DHL, but it gives a rough estimate of how many days it will take for the mail to arrive!

@Maxhuang8: I’m in the exact same position. US citizen living abroad. From the looks of it, USC will send it to us via USPS as we are domestic applicants and not international. Keep your hopes up as I will mine! It sucks we have to wait really long for it to arrive though lol.

okay so the USConnect page is working now but none of the tabs are loading. anyone else?

@ibmx92, same here. Every time I click a tab, I get this error message:

The system is unable to validate your USConnect session at this time. Please logout of all USConnect session windows and try again. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you.

Error code:G1

I think there’s another thread about this too, so I apologize for posting twice!

11starbuck: hi i used the calculator from the DHL site and it said that my package will get to beijing by friday. yay.

I tried the USPS estimated delivery time, and it says that my expected delivery date is either TODAY or TOMORROW! :D

oh yea there is another thread lol. i didnt see it because ive left this tab open on my computer and have just been hitting refresh over and over XD

my usconnect says the same thing every time i try to click a tab it wont let me do anything:( has this ever happened before? when will it be back up??

@Alrais. No, US citizens living abroad gets DHL too. At least thats the case with my friend. She’s US citizens living in China, and has received DHL email

Sooo I don’t know if this can be used as an indication of acceptance or not, but I just registered for a USC Housing account and nothing seemed to go wrong. The mail won’t get here until 3 for me.

^ Same haha. Hopefully it’s a sign.

you guys typed in all your person info, adress etc. and registered?

I think the application is open to everyone. It says: (Note: The registration button will not be visible during periods when we are not taking new resident applications. Entries created by registering with an invalid USC ID will be deleted. Application fees are non-refundable)
