When finishing a section early, do you go back to another section you need work on?

When finishing a section early, do you go back to another section you need work on/didn't finish? Secretly, of course

Don’t do that…

…Dude. DUDE. That’s a huge SAT no-no. If they catch you doing that, you’re out–no refunds, and plus, you screwed yourself over big time.

That would be unwise.

So no one does that? A lot of my friends said that they did that, especially to finish the essay. W/e I wanted to know if the majority of people did that.

Certainly people do it, but it’s cheating and may result in one’s score being canceled. I doubt that the majority of people do this.

only if your seat isn’t near proctor and you check to see if proctor is watching… then you’ll probably be safe… (i was ok for the psat…)

so if your careful, then it can work.

only losers cheat on the SAT!!!

When I took the SAT, I was sitting in the back corner farthest from the proctor. I usually finish my math sections with 1-2 minutes left, so I don’t have time to check. However, I usually finish reading sections and have 12-15 minutes left, so I go back and check the answers from the math section. If you think that’s bad though, during the bathroom break, I saw kids looking up vocab words from the test on their phones.

Hahahahaha looking up vocab words… hilarious.

Nobody ever found out… But I would never recommend doing that.

I wasn’t sure about a math question on this year’s PSAT (the last Q on section 1) so I took note of the two answer choices I was deciding between. I had time left on the next reading section, and toyed with the idea of deliberating which one was correct and changing it based on memory, but I didn’t deem it necessary.

It’s good to read this thread. i’m kind of nervous about howthe proctor works.

You finish the reading section with 12-15 minutes to spare? Oh my.

What do most proctors do while people are taking the SAT?

Well, hopefully anything but patrol the room and stare at student’s papers. in the past, I’ve seen that they usually just read a newspaper, do work, look at the ground, etc.

From my sample tests, time is always very tight. how about you guys? I think at most i may have 2 min. to spare in a section.
