Go back to different sections?

If you get done with a section, can you go back to a different section?

No. That is cheating, and your test will not be scored.

God… You don’t have to say it that harshly… Never even took the SAT before… Use euphemism…

Sorry! I didn’t mean it harshly. But the proctors take it very seriously. They go around after every section and glance at how far you got so that in the next section, they can tell if you cheated or not. Someone actually got caught in my room during a test. They were asked to leave and I’m sure their test was thrown away or shredded or something.

haha i don’t think he was trying to be mean/rude or anything, just stating the facts. but yes, you’re test won’t be scored

come on guys, not all proctors walk around. Some are lazy and will sit there and just read. If they are one of those then do whatever the **** you want.

I posted this in one thread before, and I’ll post it again.

You can bribe the proctor/supervisor with cigarettes and/or money in exchange for him allowing you to do whatever you want for four hours. You can skip breaks and work on previous or subsequent sections. You can also decide to use time from a current section to work on another section. It really helps.

However, I’ve also heard that proctors are given rewards in exchange for catching students cheating, so you’d have to bribe him with a good sum exceeding that he would get if he were to report you.

Let’s not encourage cheating.
Some proctors take it very seriously while others are heedless.

The thing is openly stating that your going to cheat is the most ridiculous thing i have ever heard. Plus i highly doubt proctors are rewarded for finding cheaters because they might accuse someone of cheating, even though they might not have, and thus cb will have a huge lawsuit on there hands. The best thing to do is sit far away from the proctor and keep and eye on him if you want to do something mischievous.

Ive heard of competetive students in my school taking the test in bad neighborhood where the proctor doesn’t care and all the kids are texting during the test.
