<p>A lot of threads here are about roommates,mostly bad roommates or simply bad relationship. </p>

<p>Honestly,I don't think there is a way to change your roommate.Usually, you cannot change a person.If you are so unfortunate to meet a bad roommate, there's basically no perfect solution. We really cannot change others.</p>

<p>The only way is to get a single room.</p>

<p>The best way to handle roommates is to negotiate and set room guidelines. I did not have a perfect roommate my freshman year but we both did our best to not cross each other's space. It made it tolerable enough to live together.</p>
