…I did bad the first half of high school? In my opinion, submitting them during the fall semester of junior year would be stupid. There would be no time to show improvement.
Not sure of the question. You do not apply to college while in junior year of high school. You apply during first semester of senior year for admission into the next fall semester of college, e.g., those applying now are high school seniors seeking to be admitted to college for the fall semester 2017. Moreover, you typically have to apply in that first semester senior year of high school because most colleges have application deadlines between November and January.
You work your behind off the rest of this school year and the first half of senior year to show you want to be considered as a serious applicant. Then when you get accepted somewhere, you don’t succumb to senioritis because you can be rescinded for Ds or below. You will pretty much be finished applying to colleges by January of your senior year. You counselor will send your grades to the colleges you apply to.
Thanks. I was under the impression that college applications were usually submitted during the junior year. Now I know that I still have time to show my improvement.
