What is a good time to take the first SAT Math Subject test (in relation to math courses taken)?

In my high school, there is Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Cal, Calc AB/BC, and Stats. Which do you think is needed in order for me to take Math I? What about Math II?

If possible, could you tell me your experience with it?

From what I’ve heard, you should take Math 1 after having taken Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry; for Math 2, you need all those plus precalc/trigonometry.

You should be familiar with high school math up to pre-calculus for SAT Math II. It occasionally tests questions on linear/quadratic regressions (often taught in a statistics course) and limits.

Take math II after either algebra II or precalculus. Preferably precalc, since that gives you another year to review what you did in algebra II (precalc is more or less the same as algebra imo… it doesn’t really prepare you for calculus at all), and you learn the basic precalc necessary for the test.
