I am applying to Harvard during the early round, but I am confused about when the admissions office needs to receive my test scores, and the website is no help.
The websites states “Early Action applicants: We request that you submit your standardized tests by the end of October. However, you are still eligible to apply using the November series as they should reach us in time for consideration.”
So, what does it mean? Are my score reports supposed to be there before November 1? Or is it okay if they are there slightly later?
I am worried because I am taking the Subject Tests in October, and I am not sure the scores will be delivered to Harvard before November 1.
Please use your cognitive skills! If Harvard says that SCEA applicants can take the November SAT or November SAT Subject Tests and still be considered for SCEA admission, doesn’t it make sense then that student’s taking the tests a month earlier, in October, would get the same treatment?
In addition, if you you have your scores automatically sent to Harvard from the October 3rd test date, those scores are available to colleges on October 22: https://sat.collegeboard.org/scores/availability
Lastly, Harvard no longer requires SAT Subject Tests: https://college.harvard.edu/admissions/apply/application-process/sat-subject-tests
@gibby I thought it would make sense, but the “We request that you submit your standardized tests by the end of October” line freaked me out a bit.
Thank you very much for your help!
