When to take SATs and SAT IIs... help

<p>I don't live in the U.S., so I was unable to take the March SAT. There are two dates remaining before the summer break, which is in May and June. I plan to take the May one, but I'm wondering if I should take the June one as well. The problem is that I'm also going to be taking the AP USH exam in May, and while it's still fresh on my mind, I want to take the SAT II on USH. Since I'll be taking the SAT in May, the best possible spot for the SAT II USH is in June. However, I'm not betting on a sublime SAT score the first time around, as that would be foolish, so I need a second testing date. Before the November early decision window closes, I only have two more dates: one in October and one in November. One of those days has to be reserved for my other SAT II (I haven't studied enough math to confidently take the SAT II in June).</p>

<p>My question is that if I take a test on November 5th, would that leave ample time for the scores to reach whatever school I'm applying ED? And also, if you were in my shoes, which dates would you pick to take SATs and SAT IIs?</p>

<p>Many (most?) EA/ED schools will take the November test. Check the admissions websites for more info.</p>

<p>You should take the June SAT II in USH since you'll be prepared from the APUSH test. If I were you, I would take the SAT I again in October and your SAT II in November. What this will allow you to do is change your application to RD and take the December test (or maybe even the January test) if you dont like your October score.</p>
