When to take the MCAT?

I am really confused as to when to take the MCAT. I will be graduating from UCLA in June 2013 and want to go to medical school in the Fall 2013 meaning I would have to apply almost a year in advance. Can someone please let me know when medical schools start accepting applications and when the best (earliest) time I should take the test?

Take the MCAT In the spring of your junior year. Before you even take the test, make sure you are mentally prepare. What I meant to say is study very very ver hard for at least three to six months prior to the test. I will also be graduating from VT in 2013 and I would like to get into med school in the same year; therefore, I getting mentally prepare now as I speak with you.
