<p>Just depends. I have one friend that submitted earlier and heard back within about 10 days. Nov 30th is so close to their honors/scholarship deadline that it may be awhile. Also, not everyone is notified even if you send in before Jan 1. It feels like the students they really want to admit, they notify right away and the rest they sort of watch as the rest of the apps come in. Good luck!</p>
<p>It really does depend. Are you a recruited athlete? That can alter when you hear about your decision sometimes.</p>

<p>I submitted mine on October 15, but I began talks to be recruited for the rowing team soon after. My application was reviewed on November 19; I had a response that Saturday. Obviously, due to the recruiting process the time frame was a bit different, but I didn't expect it to happen that quickly.</p>

I too applied 11/30, but apparently they entered my transcript into the system on 12/11. I'm awaiting a reply now.</p>

<p>My cousin applied for honors two years ago and he got his acceptance in early February.</p>
<p>You know, I have a friend who visited the UW for a program for young writers/actors, which is what he is, and the guy who ran the program happened to be the guy who looked over my friend's application. He heard back from the UW on Tuesday and he applied the week before Thanksgiving, a week before I did. His GPA is astoundingly low, as are his test scores, so I suspect knowing the guy who did his application is why he heard back so quickly. I don't think it's why he got in though; he's not dumb.</p>
<p>So, when did you end up hearing back from them? I submitted mine about two weeks ago. Would much rather go to UW than WSU if I don’t get in the other schools.</p>
