It doesn't really get you far to keep copying and pasting your statistics everywhere. I know you're looking for someone to tell you it's okay and that you will get in but that estimation has a 50% chance of being wrong! You might get rejected, but you might get accepted.

You can control your SAT, aim for a 2100+. Stop going crazy. You made a mistake but having random people like myself who want to be chanced - it doesn't say much now does it.

You'll be fine. Work hard now, you can control your now and your future.

This is an interesting quote I just read: "My interest is in the future because I am going to spend the rest of my life there."

Stop obsessing and stop posting your stats on EVERY SINGLE thread.

relax!

i was asking because i thought i would get an answer from someone who got accepted ED or RD.

and if you were in my position, you would worry too because my gpa is horrible.

I really hope we hear soon. I could use some good news. I got rejected from my first choice (GWU) and my Sarah Lawrence rejection came today. I got into DePaul University, as well as Ohio University. My only schools left are BU and NYU. I never thought I'd get into NYU, as it was a stretch to begin with. I'd really love to go to BU though. Good news would surely make me feel better about myself. My two rejections aren't making me confident though...

Sorry man that you got rejected from them both and your top choice. American rejected me today...I hope we all are accepeted into Boston University.

I was rejected from American as well. It gets me sort of nervous because BU is just the same when it comes to getting accepted (I think). Good luck to all! I hope we all get accepted!

I know, my schools are pretty similar in terms of acceptance, that's what makes me nervous. I really like DePaul, however, and I did get in there. So, if worse comes to worse, I get to live in Chicago in the fall! Which wouldn't be bad at all! Yay positive outlook! =)

Sorry Dark, go Bright! I got into Drexel University and the wait listed for the University of Pittsburgh for the Fall 2009 year and enrollment for Spring 2010 so it is not bad. I hope everyone is accepeted. =).

Would you say the BU and Tulane have similar admissions stats? Because I got wait listed at Tulane...which wasn't so bad considering I only applied there because there wasn't an application fee, so I figured I had nothing to loose. =)

Tulane has a 27% percent admission rate according to collegeboard, so you are doing good! I hope you get into a good school =)

Thanks for the info!! I hope we all get in, I wish I could just know! I'm in the process of taking my placement tests for DePaul, and I can't help but think that it's pointless if I get into BU. Well, I guess it's something to take my mind of the wait.

Where else did you apply?

I really hope you get into and good luck on the placement tests at Depaul. I applied to Drexel University and was accepeted with a bit over half percent paid scholarship. Also the University of Pittsburgh, I was wait listed for Fall 2009 but accepeted Spring 2010 if I choose to go, I was accepeted into Winston Salem State. Rejected from American University and Miami University and now I am just waiting for Boston, Cornell, Massachusetts Amherst University, Emory, NYU, and Vanderbilt.

ryansheart, why do you keep writing "accepeted?" lol just wondering

AliAngel excellent question lol! I just found out that my computer for some reason is automatically changing it.

Yea I'm getting nervous also. I was accepted into Binghamton today which made me feel a lot better after I was wait-listed from Villanova and Marist to my surprise. But I have a lot of choices regardless so I'm sure we'll all pull through

^^ Wow, that's crazy that Marist gave you the WL while Bing accepted.

Just shows how much of a crap shoot that stuff is.

kingsta - i had a low GPA, like you did. i also did attend the honors program and took applied math and psychology and received college credit. i suggest working hard, ive been accepted to all schools (RPI Carnegie Mellon Northeastern, etc.), and BU is the last school im waiting on. My GPA was about 3.7, though my SAT grades were 780M, 640CR, 640WR. I was really suprised I got accepted to all my schools and really gave me new confidence this spring. I hope the same happens to you, I wish I had applied to some tougher schools (though CMU is tough already).

I don't know if anyone posted this yet or not nut Adcom just said that notices will be posted no later than 4/1. Applicants will get an email first and then can check their account.

^Yup, I heard the same thing from a BU prof.

Yes, I heard the same from my regional rep.
