I just got one! $20,000 a year OOS, for engineering!

what were your stats, buddy?

800 CR, 790 Math, 710 Writing
800’s on Math2, Physics, and Chemistry SATIIs

4.0 and Val., from Southeast PA.

Wow, sure beats the $8000/year from the college of engineering -_-

I’m not complaining though :)

When combined with NMF, it basically makes my tuition the same as in state

Wait, is that scholarship that you received for OOS students only? I’m in state, so that might by why.

it’s $20000 if your OOS and only $8000 if your in state.

ah, I see. thanks for the info, I have no idea about this financial aid stuff

So buddy, are you planning to attend??

As of now, no, but if I don’t get into my top choices then probably.

I just received the $1500 nonrenewable Regent’s scholarship from Michigan. I appreciate the gesture, but it barely makes a dent in the tuition. Still waiting on anything more substantive (but I’m a nursing student, not LSA).

^got the 1500$ regents scholarship, same as smart cookie. i think they are holding off on the big scholarships until february, march etc.

i am so grateful. keep your hopes up guys.

Congrats! Did you guys here through email or postal letter?

yep I just got the $1500 regents award from Michigan as well. I’m very happy that I was able to get something. Hoping for more hopefully in the later months, though!

i got the regents scholarship too! wasn’t expecting it!

did it come through the mail only?

yeah, just through the mail

I just received the regents scholarship as well, on top of the $8,000 engineering scholarship. Should be enough to cover tuition for my 1st year :)

Does anyone know what the criteria is for the Regents Scholarship? Is this a big accomplishment?

The Regent’s Scholarship is one of the more common scholarships they hand out.
