Any thoughts? Also, how do you know when you're a CCer? :)

Just today, I was in a meeting and the director asked a girl if she had "Heard from the Ivys?" The girl said no. She meant two teens with the last name Ivy, but the first thing that popped into my mind was "Haven't college admissions decisions already come out?"

When CC acronyms frequently find their way into everyday language/conversations. (URM, OOS, FRQ, HYP, etc)

Also, when you're completely appalled at how little your school knows about college admissions and schools outside of Utah. ("MIT..what does that mean?")
After all, it's general knowledge, right?! : P

When you get worked up all day after reading some nonsensical posts :)

When you actually look forward to being promoted "senior member". lol
Right next month, my goal is become a senior member and thn the following month get myself banned!

OMG THESE ARE SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO TRUE! lmao lmao lmao

yes my guidance counselor really did say "I think MIT is a safety for you." This is a school that sends 20% of the class to top 20 colleges. No, MIT IS NOT A SAFETY! FOR ANYONE! (I think she said this b/c of the girl that got in last year with a 4.1 weighted gpa. Fortunately mine is higher.)

And I'm not allowed to say URM in real life??

when you’re up at 3am in the morning, reading posts & chance me threads. like i’m doing right now!

i really want to read A is for Admissions, but I don’t want to buy it before knowing if it’s good or not. for those who have it/have read it-is it worth the money?
