...you see the letters ED, and your friend says "Viagra" and you say "early decision"

any others? :D

You see another “should I retake 780” and want to puke

you see “should i retake my 2390? i dont think i’ll get in a college any other way.”

You realize the obsession with top 20 schools and “ivies” has festered into a neurotic disease.

You see “should I retake 780?” and don’t feel the need to puke.

You have 5000+ posts as a '14-er :D

The name of any college outside the Ivies eludes you.

Can we stop calling the Ivy League schools “Ivies”? It’s so smarmy and mockingly childish.

What else should we call them? Nobody’s gonna write “Ive League Schools” when they can write Ivies. After all, this is the internet, land of mangled grammar, annoying shortenings and ridiculous anagrams.

I would assume anyone attending (or even obsessing over) these “Ivies” would have the grammatical skills, and patience to be able to type things out in proper sentences. It really only takes less than an extra sentence.

Well, the other week I was standing behind two guys during a fire drill. I ended up listening to a little bit of their conversation, which went something like this:

Guy #1: Dude, it won’t do much if you only take one, but I don’t think you should take more than two.

Me: Oh, they must be talking about their SAT IIs.

Guy #2: Yeah, Mark took three and he looked in the mirror and thought he had Grinch fingers. Like grass was growing out of his fingernails or something.

Clearly, they were not talking about SAT IIs.

^ haha. I wish I had whatever they did.

So far, every single post of yours that I have seen anywhere on this forum has annoyed me.

Am I suppose to apologize?

According to the laws of the internet, yes.

The internet has LAWS?!

O_O

HOLY CRAP!

Yes. And you just about broke every one. :)

Hmmm, vibragreen. What’d you say about grammatical skills? I forget.

Ah yes nit-picking grammar. Does your e-***** feel bigger now?

I’m human, I make grammar and spelling mistakes. How unfortunate.

Tch, internet laws aren’t enforced. HA HA HA~! [/arrogance]

Anyway, this little pointless internet argument has gone way off topic.
