when?

Not yet – still waiting for the thick or thin envelope to arrive. But trying to make tentative plans for visits during my S’s spring break week (April 11-15) based on where he definitely and still might need to visit, which we can pare down as we get the final admissions and financial decisions.

Mathmomvt - is this linked into the Celebration of Diversity Weekend? [Schedule of Events - Celebration of Diversity](http://www.cmu.edu/ntia/cod/schedules.htm) If so it says that on Monday, "Select from various college/department-specific presentations, campus tours and classes to observe. " So you might want to check with the specific department of interest to see what they’re offering.

Not that I know of. My kid is a white male, so he wouldn’t be involved in the diversity weekend.

White men are not precluded from attending diversity weekend. It’s DIVERSITY weekend, which means anyone is welcome to attend and it states so very clearly on all the websites for this program throughout the recruiting cycle.

There’s a ton of stuff on Monday April 11.

It looks like they’ve updated that Monday page since I last looked – the first time I looked the 11 column was completely empty. Thanks!

S doesn’t remember selecting a mode of delivery. Would they still send the package?

I don’t remember selecting a mode of delivery either…

Anyway, I took this from my where am I page–

“The Carnegie Mellon Office of Admission intends for all students to receive their official notification of admission decisions and financial aid awards through the mail and not on this display. Due to this, decision and financial aid award information will not appear on this display until three days after the letters have been mailed to you.”

is it 3 days or 4? Tomorrow or Monday? I can hardly wait…

I think they CMU Admissions Facebook page said info would be available online on Monday.

Why is everyone saying 4 days? The “where am I in the process” page says the decision will be posted online in 3 days

I think I read somewhere on the facebook page monday as well.

I think it’s Monday, 12:01 AM. So, right after midnight. :)

Well, it’s kind of 2.22am right now in Pittsburgh PA. And no decision yet (CIT)

Seriously, they should just release decisions online for everyone at the same time

check your status page more closely – it’s easy to miss the decision. scroll down past bio info and test scores and look for the section that says college choices. it should say “Accept” or “Not Admitted” or “Waitlisted” for each college that you applied to.

uh yeah…just checked the decision column…and it’s still blank. Is this because I’m international?

It says my decision notification (acceptance) was sent March 14th. I haven’t gotten anything. When were your decision letters sent?

Anthroponomist, mine was supposedly sent March 10! Maybe that was when the decision was made? :]

Hanni3191, it should be up, I’m pretty sure. I’d contact Admissions. :]

i got in! woohoo!

Got in!

10chars

Mine says my decision notification was February 16! They didn’t even get my midyear report until the 18th! Who cares!

If the money is doable, I will certainly be a MCS tartan
