When's the last day to accept loans?

I still have to sign my Perkins prom note and stuff, so I was wondering when the last day to accept all the loans was.

Thanks in advance.

I'm wondering about this too. I plan to do a personal contribution appeal in August. I have accepted the bulk of my loans, but they just added $1000 to each semester (due to new Federal loans amount increases). I've only been offered unsubsidized loans, but I'm hoping with my appeal I can get a substantial portion changed to subsidized. Can I just leave that "unaccepted" until/if I need it?

There isn't a "deadline." You can accept loans at any point. I believe that is up to and including until the end of spring semester, because they're federal loans and offered for the school year.

As far as the unsub/sub thing goes, they can actually reassign your loans after you've accepted them -- even after they've disbursed the monies. I had some of my loans rearranged late last year, and they simply charged the unsub loans off and "awarded" me new sub loans, equal to the amount that had been charged back to me.

Yeah, just accept them before the end of the spring semester. I didn't accept one of my loans until April, which was actually about a year after I received my offer letter.

this might be a dumb question, but where do we accept them?

Bearfacts > Financial Aid > Offer Letter

if the due date for bills is Aug.15, how do we have until the end of spring semester to accept it? I need it for this semseter

Well, you can ACCEPT them that late, but it doesn't mean it's going to pay your fees for everything up until that point. If you need them for the Aug 15 deadline, you need to accept them at least a week before. Now would be good.
