Last day to accept loans?

<p>When is the last day to accept loans? I accepted grants and don't want to take out the loans unless absolutely necessary. I am still a little unsure about the cost of attendance I hear from 2,600 up to 6,500 just for tuition. Does anyone know what it is? I will be a freshmen in the fall at Cal State Long Beach. One final question I have read up on the loans and I narrowed down by options to the federal perkins loan and subsidized staffard loan (both if necessary ) which is a better choice better down the road. I know perkins loans is 5% fixed interest rate and just read that the staffard loan is 3.4%. Any help!!</p>

<p>You need to check with your school. At our school any campus based aid (Perkins loan, Work Study, SEOG) must be accepted within 30 days or it is taken away and reawarded to other students. Each school’s rules will vary. Check with your school.</p>
