Where did you get rejected/accepted/waitlisted?

Just interested how many places people applied to and got into. Haven't recieved any decisions yet so I'll update as they come :P

Applied to one place, where pretty much everyone gets in. haha.

Summer@Brown.

Rejected at ASU Math/Science Honor's Program (free 8-week college credit program). I feel that i may have been overqualified and that i didnt show enough interest. I made it clear that i did not intend on attending ASU for college and they made it clear they didn't want me :P

I'm banking on Carnegie Mellon Diversity though, at least in that app i showed a TON of interest. If that doesn't work out then it looks like i'll be spending my summer on a family vacation to visit my bro before he gets deployed to iraq, not necessarily the worst scenario

^yeah, I'd rather spend time with your bro and your family than go to a summer program =P

Waitlisted at Kenyon Young Writers Program, still waiting to hear from the Iowa Young Writers' Studio

Waitlisted at SSP
Rejected at RSI
Currently contacting individual laboratories for the NIH internship program

So far: 0 for 2 , possibly 1 for 2 depending on luck

lol...not too good.

Rejected from TASP and Stony Brook's Simons Fellowship

Accepted into Student Secondary Training Program at University of Iowa to do research under a professor and write up a paper on it. Accepted the offer, but still keeping my eyes open for more options.

Waiting to hear back from MIT MITES, MIT WTP, Carnegie Mellon Diversity Program, Los Alamos National Laboratory, Clark Scholars, and Cornell Nanobiotechnology Program......

got into oxbridge on a scholarship (looks really expensive though, even with the scholarship), didnt get into tasp or my states governors honors school for business (they seemed to of wanted entrepreneurs, i said in the interview that i was more interested in economics/public policy, so that might of been the deciding factor). LEAD doesnt look good right now, but i hear that they are slow at notifying people. waiting to hear back from questbridge college prep, jsa summer school (dem. nominating convention), clark scholars, and some internships (wow is that all i applied for? i should of gone for some safteys)

made it at an internship at axa financial
however that was my safety
waiting on wharton lbw...

Made Management and Technology Summer Program at Penn
Like Degoutant, waiting on Lead, not looking too good tho

Accepted to LEAD at Wharton
Waiting to hear from Carnergie Mellon Summer Program for Diversity

galestorm, i wouldn't even wait for CMU's program. haha.

I'd go to LEAD in a heartbeat.

Accepted to IEP at Notre Dame, waiting on LCLS at Notre Dame, and MITES. Anyone know when MITES decisions will come out?

Waitlisted at FTE's Economics for Leaders, given the offer to do FTE at a less popular campus but....I don't know...I had my heart set on the campus I applied to so although I want to go (seminar is on a topic of interest), I don't want to make things overly complicated. I'm just waiting until April to see if I can get off the waitlist--if I can't, then I guess I get to see the concluding days of junior year and relax :D

Really? Why would you go to LEAD over CM? Just curious because if I get into CM, I'm not 100% sure where I'll go. I'm psyched about LEAD, but CM could be good too...

still waiting on my decisions...

galestrom: go to CMU so a semi-finalist can get in. :P j/k

it depends on your interests though. pittsburgh is a pretty cool city though, make sure you go to "the original hot dog shop" if you go.

haha, thanks - I'll hit the "origional hot dog shop" if i go. i have to say i'm leaning towards lead, but i'm still weighing my options.

Rejected from Pennsylvania Governor's School of Art (that's how I learned that having 12 typos is typically not wise. :/) and accepted into Iowa Young Writer's Studio and Kenyon Review Young Writers. I'm going to Iowa.

Hey prismatic. I'm probably going to Iowa too! I was offered to do reserach under a prof. at University of Iowa.I think i prob will go to there...
