Where do I apply?

GPA: 3.5 (88%/89%, what happened was fresh/soph year i got 86 % and 87 % averages because I didn't care as much. Junior year, I changed, and my average was 93-95 % range) So.. upward trend.
SAT: 2100 (790 writing/12 essay, 700 reading, 610 math)
ECs: Spanish Club, Military History Club, Over 40 hours in Mentoring, Over 40 hours in two different tutoring programs, Volunteering at a hospital (16 hours), I work a 20-40 hour/week job, Copy Editor of my school newspaper
I took all honors and APs except for math all through highschool. My school is first in my state and has one of the most rigorous curriculum s in the nation.
Senior Classes: AP Stats, AP Eng Lit, AP Spanish, Journalism H, Humanities H, Anatomy, Sociology

I have no idea what I want to do (I really don't like math or science, if that helps). I just know that I LOVE the city (NYU is my first choice, but they give really no FA so it's kind of far fetched..). It's okay if the school is a reach; I want to go somewhere where I can learn as rigorously and as much as possible.

So, where do I apply? Thank you so much for the help.

Urban, good liberal arts and generous financial aid. NYU is big-20,000 undergrads. Are you looking only at big schools? If not, take a look at these LACs: Macalester in Minneapolis (generous financial aid) and Vassar, in Poughkeepsie if you are a guy (if you are a girl, Vassar is a reach for you). More mid-sized: Georgetown and Vanderbilt are both reaches-not sure about the aid-but George Washington University in DC is a match.

Where does the 3.5 put you rank wise at your school? Do you qualify for need based aid?

The 3.5 puts me at the top 50% of my class for certain.
