where do I fit?

Hello I'm a high school junior (soon to be senior in 3 days) and I'm looking for suggestions for the right college for me...

I'm looking for:
-a school with respected academic standards but also a promising social scene
-a semi-urban campus but I'm not opposed to other options
-Larger schools over smaller
-Geographically speaking: mid-east, northeast + DC, Virginia, Illinois

my info:
GPA: 4.0
SAT1: 2200 (750 verbal 690 math 760 writing)
mostly all honors courses
+ student government, NHS, held a job throughout hs

So far I've come up with: GWU, BU, UMich, Tuft's, UVA
chances?
other suggestions?

thank you!!

What is your home state? Do you need financial or merit aid? I don’t know how UMich is mid-east or Illinois.

What about WashU, Northwestern and Georgetown?

BC, Carnegie-Mellon, Notre Dame

Duke, Johns Hopkins, U of Penn., Emory, Vanderbilt

i would get rid of BU unless you are using it as a safety

I think BC and Notre Dame are good choices.

Depends what you want to major in.

Thanks for all the quick replies and suggestions so far!
I live in Pennsylvania…still unsure about my potential majors. Hoping to receive some aid, but unsure whether or not I’d qualify for need based.

Why not Penn State? It’s a good school and you’d get in-state rates.

I have similar stats and I’m also looking at medium to large urban schools with a low competition atmosphere and challenging academics. So far, these are my favorites:

Yale University (obviously a reach)
Washington University in St. Louis (pretty reachy because of low admit rates)
George Washington University (match)
American University (low match, basically a safety)
Boston University (low match)

I have also liked:
University of Pittsburgh (low match… basically a safety, especially in state)
University of Maryland, College Park (okay, I don’t really like it at ALL, but you may)
Tufts University (match, reachy because of low acceptance rates)
Stanford University (obvious reach for anyone)
Harvard University (obvious reach)
