Where do I get paper applications if I don't want to apply online?

Hey. My main question is that if I don't want to apply to an university, like Columbia, via online application, where can I get a copy of the paper application?

Do I just go to Columbia's website and download/print the pdf document version of the application? (It seems a bit tacky IMO but is that the way to do it?)

In addition, is there a disadvantage of applying via paper? Like will it hurt my chances?

I just don't want to use the online version because idk I guess I am old-fashioned and I want to attach supplements to my paper app.

Thanks for the clarifications.

sometimes you can request a paper app, and they will mail it to you. if not, just print it.

i dont think there would be a disadvantage. i know they prefer online apps, but its not like they would reject you for sending in a paper app.

Some schools don't even have a paper app. Some school just sent some mail touting about how they're so environmentally friendly, amusingly I get the most mail from them.

Emory University I believe :P

Just use the online app... it's infinitely easier and more convenient. You can print out the online app when you're done so that you have a hard copy. "Old-fashioned" is not a good enough reason to use paper, believe me.

Besides, most colleges have someone that enters data from paper apps into a computer anyway. Using an online app makes it easier for those working in the admission office.
