I’ve had a couple of poetry pieces published in journals for high school students and journals where you have to submit your work// it’s pretty selective. Where do I mention having my poetry published in an actual journal for college applications? Would I put this in the awards section or like additional information? Should I not put it on my college applications?
You should definitely mention it in your application. I would put it in the additional information. My friend had something similar (for a science project) and our counselor advised her to put it there.
I had a similar project for a business class. My counselor advised to put it in the Additional Information section.
