Where do students live during int'l orientation?

Hi anyone here knows about where the kids stay? Would prefer that son stays on campus, have emailed housing but no reply as yet. Husband will be at a hotel which is not near the campus.

Well, if your son has assigned housing you can opt for early move in at a daily rate. Otherwise, it looks like you have to find your own housing.

"Housing Accommodations

On-campus housing is not provided during the International Student Orientation program. Students who have been assigned university housing and would like to be housed on campus early for the start of the on-campus International Student Orientation should contact USC Housing at 213.740.2546 or 800.872.4632. Students should indicate they are attending International Student Orientation when contacting USC Housing. This option is based on availability. A daily rate will apply."

Thanks, got an email from housing today saying the same, daily rate is 75/-. It makes sense for him to hang with others on campus then.

Anyone here recommend that he stays on Campus from 16th rather than with his dad in a hotel?

Is international orientation in Aug the last batch to register for classes?

Yes it is. Buddha, did you go for the HK orientation?

yeah i did, did you go? A lot of classes filled up already so it was a pain in the ass choosing courses, not to mention web registration wasting like 20 mins of my time opening some pop up window asking for a pin code lol. But it was fun and informative :)
