bump since its back to school time

ahh if money were no object-- Thecompanystore.com has really nice bedding, and pottrybarn (regular) has awesome furniture and lighting and stuff.

BUT Bed bath an beyond has this thing Called Pack and Hold where youcan go into their stores and they give you a scanner (haha makes ou feel really official!) and you scan what you want, and then they will arange with a store closeto your school to have every single item you scanned all packaged up neatly waiting for you when you get there. Or for a shipping fee that is less than 1/2 what it would cost to just ship it yourself, they'll send it to your dorm.

It's really nice for people like me, who are going far away. It takes a lot of the pressure off of that first day, because you know you have SOME stuff at least, and can worry about things other than buying bedding when your moving in.

This is totally not meant as an advertisment for bb&b (lol) I just found it realy useful.

LOL, but you won me over! Thanks :D

So far I've shopped at Walmart, Zellers, and the best of all: the dollar store! You can find some great stuff in there.

Try to find an outlet store around where you live. There's a Pottery Barn one an hour away from me, and the prices are great for the quality that you get.

yea i went to a bed bath and beyond outlet at franklin mills mall and got a great deal on a comforter and quilt :)

Saks Fifth Avenue

great idea sdizzle i bought some twin xL sheets at neiman marcus for only $150!

I love Target's dorm room stuff. It's really cute.

E-bay............the greatest creation for the lazy and open minded shoppers!

This guy is spamming the last couple topics.

I bought most of my stuff from Amazon. I got nice inexpensive things as well with free shipping and easy returns. I payed 20 for an amazing memory pillow, I got lamps, shoes, bed covers and flash lights there. i got 1500 Egyptian cotton that’s ridiculously soft for about 25 bucks. GO TO AMAZON FOR YOUR BED STUFF! You will not regret it. I’m sleeping on clouds rn.

I went to walmart (Online of course) and got a fridge/freezer, vacuum and file.

I went to staples (Both online and in store) and got folders, pens (nice pens), pencils, notebooks and printer paper.

Then I went to target and got things like makeup, lotion, body wash, toothbrush, toothbrush holders, and other toiletres. (Target is the cheapest place to get high brand body products for cheap.)

I bought my clothes at Ross! I got a lot of designer dresses, shirts, pants (over 20 items) for about $200.

I will be going to TJMaxx on tax free weekend to pick up a couple of shoes and other minor things.

If money wasn’t an issue I think I would have still gotten my bedding at Target haha. Target was/is the only store with bedding that I like. BB&B bedding feels cheap to me.

But I definitely would have gotten all my storage bins/drawers and decor at BB&B and PB Teen if it wasn’t so pricy.
