Where do you send Tax info?

<p>Do you have to send W-2's and schedules to each school individually, or is there an address that will suffice for all schools ?( collegeboard maybe?)</p>

<p>You need to look on each college's website to see what they require. There will be a list of required forms and documents. There will also be a place to send them to. Some schools participate in IDOC and if your school(s) do, then you would do that. But most schools do not do this. In most cases you will be mailing these supportive documents separately to each school requesting them.In our experience, this "stuff" was mailed to the financial aid office...address on website. And in our case, the two colleges DID require copies of the tax returns. BUT not every school does.</p>

<p>I really can't explain IDOC very well...even though we used it for one school. Basically it's a process that some schools use to gather the tax and supporting information. It is submitted through IDOC (which I think is a College Board thing) and they disperse the info to any colleges you list who participate. If your school uses this, it will be on their website. We may also have gotten a note about this when we submitted the Profile...honestly, I don't remember.</p>
