Where does Cornell Rank?

lol this is the Cornell forum....we have at least 5 regular Cornellians posting here...and you think we need to learn about our school/sports conference from some Vanderbilt punk?

You'll find that these topics have been covered over and over and over again...

oooo i sense a confrontation

goodness, though cornell is an excellent school, i wouldn't rank it above dartmouth and upenn wharton.
sure, cornell has a slight notch in name-recognition, but the two schools offer better education.
in my opinion cornell ranks the second from the bottom, which is upenn without wharton.

How do you know they offer a better education? I'm just wondering what your reference is.

lol chill out and calm down guys

Wow... Vanderbilt, according to Princeton review, is a segregated, WASPy, daddy's fraternity kinda school... Sounds great! Just the kinda place I'd want to be for college....... Actually, the academically challenging, delicious food serving, IVY LEAGUE institution (called CORNELL), has caught my attention....... ;)

Well stevenlee87, I'd rank Dartmouth dead last....haha I'm feeling confrontational tonight...

Me too towerpumpkin... Cheers!

I always am :p, but I was serious about you providing your reference for education quality stevenlee87.

I should probably add HYPM, Duke, Washington, UVA, and VPI to that list....because of this: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?p=1374064#post1374064

(lol I'm just playing....I really have no opinion on which Ivies are better or worse)

whoa it will be my goal to change that for Vanderbilt. I take this as a personal affront!

Good luck, mrromantic405. It's a commenedable mission.

spanks thank you I will let you know how I do next year at this time either from my room equipped with full bar or a rehab center in Nashville. And I am not waspy nor am i a member of daddys fraternity. My daddy went to another school and mommy is a southern girl. however both are still partying. FOrtunately I do not have fetal alcohol syndrome though I have at times wondered about that!

Haha, good luck. Remember, rehab is for quitters.

I'm joking, so I don't want to hear rehab sob stories, thanks people.

Remember, this is one website's "survey info." The only reason we were busting your chops is because you busted ours :p . We're good people here on the Cornell board (except for Spanks ;) jk). How about we put this heated "debate" to rest by saying that all schools mentioned were good at what they do, and if you graduate from any of these institutions, you have the potential to kick serious @$$ in whatever you plan on doing.

Relax people, rankings aren't able to judge how you use the resources available to you. It's all up to you, and your personal drive to be successful. Chilllll duuuudes......

:)

Hey, I was serious about it being a commendable mission! I take the quality of my partying very seriously.

Thanks blackferrari :p.

vanderbilt is the school for all the people rejected from all the ivies, somebody is bitter. vanderbilt basically begged me to consider there school, when hell freezes over

Vanderbilt is a very good school, abike11.

"There school" ey?

the point of this was to ignore natinal rankings because we all know they mean squat cornell should be ranked higher they facvtor very meaningless things in those polls.

abike!!! We're trying to resolve this conflict!!! You're being very anti-progressive!! lol
