Where else are you applying?

<p>I'm just wondering what other schools are popular with uchicago nerds, so that I will consider applying there too. I myself am--as of right now--applying to:</p>

Stanford
Northwestern
London School of Economics
Georgetown SFS
NYU Stern
UPenn
UW</p>

<p>Where else do you guys favor?</p>

<p>Well the main factor in my search is geography: both the major (many schools don't offer it or only offer the physical study) and the actual location of the school. So, the only two I'm <em>definitely</em> applying to are DePaul and University of Chicago. The latter being both my reach and my preference. Maybe Macalester, but I live in Illinois and am looking to stay in-state...arrrghh U of C is perfect.</p>

<p>I'm still considering some other major reaches (stanford, upenn), but I'm still weighing the money and pain of filling out another application with the admittedly scant odds of getting in. I guess we'll see.</p>

<p>DePaul is definitely my safety... and the only other school I really like other than UChicago. Sad... I really need to apply to more schools...</p>

<p>I applied under Early Action and, having been accepted in mid-December, didn't even bother applying to any of my second-and-below-choice schools. However, those schools were the University of Pennsylvania, Cornell University, Northwestern University, Vandberbilt University, Lehigh University, and the University of Pittsburgh.</p>

<p>I applied EA to Chicago last year (deferred, then wait listed). My second choice was Emory, which I'll be attending starting in a few weeks. Mercer was my safety.</p>
