Can anyone from PSU tell me which dorms are the best to hang out / party at?

I'm not from PSU but from what I heard, East is the party dorm.

I've heard the same thing. That and maybe West Halls.

Go to East.

Lil killer: is Discover House SLO better for freshman who would rather study than party?

I thought Discover House was a SLO to help freshmans learn about different majors and to help them make a good decision. I would think that LIFE house is better suited for freshmans who would rather study than party.

anyone know what west dorms are like in terms of partying?

I went to the welcome day information thing & someone asked this question for the current students.
One dude said East, one dude said North & another said freakin' West or something.
I was like "yeah...that helps..." LOL.

^Well obviously everyone is going to say something different. 40,000 students... 40,000 opinions.

From everything I've heard, East is the craziest party scene... I've heard from about 100+ friends NOT to go to West.

lol I love the pre-college views of the party hardy atmosphere of east

It is not THAT crazy, campus security swarm over east looking for underage drinkers as alcohol in the dorms is prohibted you can end up losing your housing contract if caught.

My advice, if you want to get *****ty, head downtown and try to get into the frats. At least there you can drink the cheap beer without chance of being homeless.

how many of the frats u think would let freshmen party with them lol

all frats have open door policies the first month or so to get pledges. PSU has one of the longest pledge periods where most parties are open. After that as long as you know someone within the frat you can get in.

u have any suggestions about wut frat to join? ones that are good for parties and are well known on campus
