Where should I be aiming?

Hi everyone,

I'm not going to ask for my chances at a particular school, but rather where I should be looking for choices. However, I am very interested in Boston C, Boston U, NYU and maybe even Cornell or Dartmouth. Here's some of my info:

-When it comes to GPA, I'm one of those students who wasn't particularly good for Freshman and Sophomore year (about an 84 average, unweighted), but then really turned it on for Junior year (about a 93 unweighted, 97 weighted).

-One AP class this year (Junior year, Stats) and signed up for 4 next year (English Lit, Physics C, French and Calculus). Everything else honors except for electives.

-Member of Model Congress club (like debate club), pretty high chance of an award soon at a conference and officership for next year. Probably VP.

-Sports: freshman football, JV basketball Soph. year, and then Jr and Sr year I have Varsity Skiing and Track.

-Significant amt. of volunteer work in past years, totaling maybe 200 hrs

-SAT scores will be known and posted on Thursday the 1st of April, but definitely expecting at least a 2200.

So like I said, don't just chance me for the aforementioned schools, I want to know whereabouts I should be aiming. Any help is very much appreciated!!!

Don’t “expect” anything.

If you get recruited for sports, I can picture you in some of those schools.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that my mother went to Syracuse. Does that sound like a good fit?

Varsity skiing? You have that? Wowwww lucky!
Like geekorathletic said above, don’t “expect” anything. But aim high and try your best! I think your “turning it on” for junior year proves that you can only improve as time passes. But make sure to kick some booty senior year to prove that true (:
