where would you go if you had the choice between these 3 schools:

Univ. of Michigan

Univ. of Georgia

Florida State Univ.

i know michigan is way more prestigious than the other two, but i know georgia and florida have rediculously hot girls and wild party scenes. where would you go?

in case you're wondering, i'm asking on this forum so i won't get a biased answer like i would on one of their forums. obviously if i were to go to fsu's forum and asked that, i'd probably get a lot of people saying "yeah.. go to fsu!" and the same with uga and michigan. help?

Which school is the best for your major?

Have you visited and which one feels like the best fit for you?

Financial aid or does cost not matter?

Florida has great weather most of the time LOL

Where do you most likely want to end up working or going to grad school?

Location to you home?
Just some thoughts........

well, i included florida state, but that's the least likely of the 3 candidates, so lets just rule that one out.

my intended major as of right now is business or economics. michigan is the number 6 business school in the country as opposed to uga which is number 40, so 1 point for michigan.

i've only visited uga because i live in georgia. my dad lives in michigan though, near ann arbor, and we're supposed to visit sometime this summer.

if i go to uga, i wont have to pay tuition, because if you live in georgia and you graduate high school with a 3.0 gpa, you automatically qualify for this thing we have called the hope scholarship. it pays full tuition to any public college/university in georgia, but you still have to pay room and board, etc.

on the other hand, if i go to michigan, i should qualify for in state, because their tuition "rules" say that if one of your parents live in michigan regardless of whether they are your custodial parent or not, you should qualify as in state. even so, it would still be like $9,000 + other fees.

florida and ga may have good weather (not as good as san diego i suppose lol) but on the flip side, it snows in michigan, so that would be different. (who says change is bad?)

not too sure about this one yet.

since my dad lives in michigan, and my mom lives in georgia, going to either of the two wouldn't really be too far from home.

...Thanks. those questions kind of helped :)

It sounds like you have two really good options. Visit Michigan and see how you like it. I know a couple of people (adults) who are from Michcigan and loved Univ. Of Michigan. They still have tons of school spirit even out here in California. Best of luck. You're pretty smart asking on an unbiased board. You might go to **************.com to see what students say about each school, also go on the websites and request brochures. For business, I might lean towards U o M although I'm not an expert in this field. Anyway, best of luck to you!

any1can, i know college confidential blocks out some websites.. like whatever you just typed lol. so could you retype it or something, but this time, just like put spaces between the letters or something so that it wont get a bunch of asterisks? thanks!

c o l l e g e p r o w l e r----- or you can buy the individual books of a particular school by same company at some books stores. I didn't know they blocked this out. I've seen it before on CC. interesting.....
