where would you go if you had the choice between these 3 schools:

Univ. of Michigan

Univ. of Georgia

Florida State Univ.

i know michigan is way more prestigious than the other two, but i know georgia and florida have rediculously hot girls and wild party scenes. where would you go?

in case you're wondering, i'm asking on this forum so i won't get a biased answer like i would on one of their forums. obviously if i were to go to fsu's forum and asked that, i'd probably get a lot of people saying "yeah.. go to fsu!" and the same with uga and michigan. help?

wait... so you're going to college for the sole purpose of meeting ridiculously hot girls?? That's one of your important reasons for going to a college? Interesting. Sure, if you think meeting hot girls is a priority for an expensive college education, go for it.

they're all very different schools. way to the north or two way south. where are you located? where do you feel most comfortable, and what program suits your intended major best?

I'd go UMich personally...

And I'm totally not judging you on the comment about the hot girls at FSU or Georgia :) .... but just remember there will be girls anywhere and if you think you'll be "distracted" by anything like that, and if that's your sole purpose, I would think twice. Still, go with your gut and whatever feels best.

no no no. sorry. i left out some parts lol. my top priority is my education. my parents are divorced and i live with my mom. my dad lives in michigan, and my mom lives in georgia. going to fsu or uga would allow me to be close to my mom and her part of the family, and going to michigan would allow me to be close to my dad.

i never see my dad, so the top notch education that michigan offers as well as being close to family that i never see make me want to lean toward michigan. but i also know georgia and florida state are pretty decent schools and i wouldnt have to make much of an adjustment. ...and all that stuff i mentioned in the above post is just extra icing on the cake.

sorry, didn't mean to come off as a shallow dude with nothing but that three-letter-word always on his mind and controlling his thoughts. maybe i clarified things up haha.

EditorinChief88, im leaning toward umich also. it would be the best option for my intended major (business or economics). i live in south ga. but im not afraid of change. moving somewhere north would be a cool experience i think. i think i have a good head on my shoulders, so i think i should be able to rule out any "distractions" :).

You're from south Ga. so going to school in no. FL or Ga is not as horizon-broadening as going to school in another part of the country would be. Of the three, you should probably go to Michigan or Georgia because of their flagship status and the quality of the programs, and you have already experienced life in Georgia. UM will be a real growth experience for you and it is, no small consideration, regarded as a public "Ivy." Being in Mich will also give you a chance to connect with your father's side of the family. My magic-8 ball says go to Michigan.
