Where should Marshall undergrad live?

Hey guys!

I just got accepted to Marshall today and I'm looking over housing options. Do you guys happen to know which house Marshall undergrad students usually live? It seems as if the New Residential College and the North Residential College are popular options.

Thanks!

It doesn't really matter since freshmen year you will be taking a lot of general courses and some business classes will not even be located in a classroom at the Marshall school, but with that said, I haven't heard of a residence hall where most business majors tend to live at (a little warning, new/north tends to be the loudest residence hall).

So would Birnkrant be a better option when it comes to roudy-ness and such?

Just to note, the Parkside Residential Colleges are the newest, and in my opinion the nicest options. You might want to consider the Arts and Humanities Residential College at Parkside (PRB) which is a 4 minute walk and 1.5 minute bike ride from Bridge Hall and Hoffman Hall, where most of your BUAD classes will be.

^..thank u so much
i just found out how century(my ideal place) is called rainbow..where gay and lesbian stay...
anyways...and ya..how.. North Residential College the most popular for marshall..has no air conditioner

proudtrojan- I actually don't see the Parkside Residential Colleges. I can only find the Parkside Apartments and the PRB one in Arts and Humanities. Is Birnkrant at Parkside?

Here is the link for Parkside-
USC Auxiliary Services Housing

Birnkrant is not at parkside, look at the housing map on their website.

I put the Business Floor at North as my number one. My other choices were anything else New/North, Birnkrant, and Pardee.

vienna, if you have any specific questions about Birnkrant, feel free to PM me or ask here (I currently am living in Birnkrant). And like Nikara mentioned, Birnkrant is not at Parkside. It is at the opposite side of campus (between New/North and Leavey Library)

x3cin- Thank you so much for helping me out! I sent you a PM :)

Just to clarify Parkside is an area that has three buildings:
Parkside Apartments (PKS)-apartments built in the early 1960's USC Auxiliary Services Housing

Parkside International Residential College (IRC)-suite style residence hall built in 2001 home to both international and domestic students USC Auxiliary Services Housing

Arts and Humanities Residential College at Parkside (PRB)-suite style residence hall, similar to the IRC but with slight differences (such as common rooms in suites and plasma-screen televisions in floor lounges) built this year, home to people from all majors USC Auxiliary Services Housing

DD did not find this on the housing map, is it off campus?

If you're looking at the map, scroll to the bottom of the map where you will see three yellow buildings at the corner of Vermont and Exposition. The rightmost building is the Arts and Humanities Residential College at Parkside. It is on-campus, right next to the other Parkside buildings.

is the business floor at New or North...because i was under the impression that it was at North but the website says its at New

xc3, thank you. This is why I love CC.:D
I will show this to my daughter when she gets home.
