<p>So my laptop (Dell Inspiron 1545) battery has finally died. Dead to the point of unpluggin the computer equals turning off. Its ability to hold a charge is completely gone. And although it looks fine on my desk, I'd like to be able to move it sometimes, so now I need to find a replacement battery. I've checked out the Dell website and yea...not really excited to pay ~$150 for the battery. So I'm just looking around trying to find a deal online. Do any folks on here know of good (read: reputable) sites to buy replacement laptop batteries from?</p>
<p>It is not without risk. Depending upon how much time you really need, you can find cheap ones off ebay. Just know that you are likely to get an inferior product. If you need every last minute of battery charge, then manufacturer, or someone like Battery Plus, is the way to to.</p>
