Where to buy Microsoft Office for Mac 2011 Home & Student edition for cheap?

Where can you get this ^(see post title) with college student deals? I know the regular retail price is like $149.99, so where are there deals for college?

You should try your school’s bookstore, colleges usually have deals with Microsoft and such that gives discounts to their students.

^
Yeah, my school has an agreement with Microsoft that allows students to purchase Microsoft Office for $11 as long as you are enrolled as a student.

I think the only legit way to get it for cheap is through your school.

OpenOffice.org

Not exactly what your looking for but works just the same…

Yeah either they will have it in the bookstore or maybe check your college’s tech department…they usually have licenses for Office lying around.

Just torrent it.

I second the OpenOffice suggestion.

campus bookstore. $30 at my school

OpenOffice.

Its free at my school.

Thepiratebay.org

It’s also free at my school.

You should contact your school’s IT department to find out what software they have available for enrolled students.

Don’t torrent it; especially from campus. Odds are, you’d be breaking several of their terms of agreement and it’d be grounds for them to suspend you network access (or worse).

Check online retailers that offer student discounts. Provantage.com typically has some great deals.

Like the above poster said, do not pirate software.

My school offers it for either $35 or $50 for Macs… They make PC users pay $80 for the whole suite.

I found a website deal through my school for MS Office for $80, seems to be the best I can get. My school doesn’t have any other deal, so I got that and downloaded OpenOffice for free as well as a back up incase something would ever happen to my MS Office program.
