My DD and I will be arriving for Explore USC a day early (tomorrow morning) and will be at the Radisson without a car. We just want to relax and stay close. Does anyone have recommendations for lunch and dinner? We don't need to be fancy. Will we be eating at EVK and Parkside on the Explore days? Any suggestions?

On the explore days I do believe that they give you meal tickets to use at Parkside, EVK, and cafe 84. If you’re looking for somewhere near campus there’s the standard Carl’s jr Panda Express both on and off campus. Five guys is less than a 15 minute walk. Chipotle Starbucks chik fil a and a nice Japanese place. There is a food court and supermarket inside university village on the north side of campus about 10-15 minute walk from the raddison. Also fresh and easy across the street from the Galen center

I would walk south on Figueroa to Tuscany which has Chipotle, Quiznos, a Sushi Place, a Pizza place, Coffee Bean, Cold Stone and Chick-Fil-A. Or you can walk north on Figueroa to University Gateway which has a bunch of places or keep walking north to the various fast food places on Figueroa. Or you can walk north on Figueroa and west on Jefferson (or cut through campus and cross Jefferson) to the UV which has a food court in addition to Wendy’s, Subway, Denny’s, Burger King, and Yoshinoya.
For USC places, CPK and Seeds are open on campus: [Hours[/url]
Right next to the Radisson is The Lab which is an okay gastropub: http://thelab.usc.edu](http://hospitality.usc.edu/Hours/Default.aspx#restaurants)
I would also recommend Lemonade on the 2nd floor of the campus center but it is not open on Sundays.

War Chant’s recommendations are spot-on. I’d recommend the Tuscany area but Gateway isn’t bad either if you’re into burritos, frozen yogurt, or Italian food. Also check out what’s between Gateway and Icon apartments, across the street from campus (Icon is across from Gate 2) . I’ve heard good things about that Pizza Studio place and the little Raddison area isn’t bad either.

Pizza Studio at the Icon Plaza next to the Radisson is pretty good, and convenient too.
