Where to find all of these scholarships?

Hi everyone. There are a lot of threads in this forum about scholarships that I had never ever heard of before. I have a list of local and state wide scholarships, but I am not sure where to start looking for national ones. Fastweb seems overwhelming. Any particular scholarships that I should apply for or advice about how to find the best ones?

Are there still any big open scholarships or are all the substantial ones closed?

Are you a Senior, looking for next year, or a Junior, just starting to look?

^I’m a senior.

I’m just starting the process with my son, so I’m no expert.

But Fast Web seems to be a good starting place.

And try your local chamber of commerce, and any local business. From what I’ve read, you want lots of small awards-- with less competition-- as opposed to trying for those huge awards.

Here is a list of scholarship sites I looked through. Some have smaller scholarships, some bigger, some have private scholarships, some national, and some help you apply to all you are eligible for. Good luck:

 Adventures in Education (search by keyword, list of many variable scholarships)
 Cappex (variety of scholarships, big and small)
Collegenet.com (long list of scholarships)
 College Scholarships (quick login, scholarship matches)
 FastWeb (list of many scholarships)
 FinAid (many national scholarships)
 ■■■■■ (matches you to eligible scholarships)
 ScholarshipOwl (One application applies to all eligible scholarships)
 Scholarship Monkey (many scholarships on the site)
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ (matches you to scholarships)
