In part 1 of gateway to prep schools, there’s a place to list extracurricular activities, but it only allows for the category of the activity and position/level of involvement to be mentioned. Is there anywhere I would be able to provide more details about a club I started rather than just what kind of activity it is? Should I just talk about the specifics in the interviews? If I did, would this information reach the other admissions officers? For this particular club, I feel like a providing a description makes a pretty big difference and shows what simply listing the category of activity can’t.

You can always email an ao with a short paragraph about something important. Don’t overlook direct communication as a strategy for highlighting important things.
I don’t remember the applications so can’t comment on that.
