Where to start off?

NYU is my dream school but it is out of my reach right now. Out of these colleges which would be the best to start off and then transfer to NYU after 2 years or so. Boston Unviersity, Fordham University, Northeastern University?

This information would benefit me as well.

Personally, if you haven’t had the feel of what it’s like to live in NYC (and if you think you might regret going to NYU because of it) then go to Fordham. If you care more about reputation, then go to BU. You couldn’t really go wrong going with either one though. They’re both great schools.

Northeastern on the other hand, I personally wouldn’t unless there was a specific program, like pharmacy, that interested me.

I live in New York and always have. I just have this feeling inside me that even if I do well this year, my chance of getting in are close to none :(.

any more help?

bump./////

bumping for the afternoon

please help i need to make a decision

CC shouldn’t be your main source of information. You should look up the schools yourself, and compare information and from there, choose which one you like the best(which may be a hard choice.).

That aside, where you go freshman year is not as big a role in your chances of transferring than what you do there. Choose a school you like.

You have SO much time. Trust me, not even lying, before the summer, I didn’t even want to apply to NYU because I didn’t think I’d get in. I was looking at schools like Stony brook, Penn state and University of Delaware. I studied a lot, got a good SAT score, spent a long time on my essays and my sister finally convinced me to apply… and I got in. Don’t look at those schools right now, just try harder, do wel on your standardized test and you’ll et in
