i'm an international applicant from Korea and i've just been accepted to Rutgers(Political science major).
well...so i'm now looking for a good residence hall which is really important to enjoy my college life.
i want my dorm relatively quiet, accesible to lecture halls or libraries, diverse, well-facilitated.
and i hope i can stay with many people whose majors are smilar to mine(social science field)

Can you guys plz help me find one??
and if someone knows about Douglass campus(all women campus), please let me know about that.

I've already posted a lot of info on douglass, but I guess it won't hurt to reiterate. Douglass is by far the prettiest campus that Rutgers offers. Douglass Residential College women are notoriously more involved and motivated out of the the others. Where I live, Jameson is the closest residence hall to three computer labs and the library and is very quiet (I live in the honors wings). Jameson also offers global village living-learning communities such as east asian, human rights, middle east coexistence and so forth.

and i don't really know what else to say but check out that website for more info. also the aadc are very very generous so they give out some scholarships to drc students.
hope this was helpful. best of luck.

the associate alumnae of douglass college who are known for offering generous scholarships to douglass residential college students and for good networking (a lot of douglass alumni are prominent women in many different industries who offer un-paid externships (basically a short weekish-long internship that is required by douglass to complete) that can lead to internships that can lead to actual jobs.

douglass has so much money in fact that pres mccormick has been trying to tap into our funds by getting rid of drc and integrating it into the general sas, which is smart to do for a state univ. with lower and lower funds but totally inconsiderate to douglass women.
