Which ACT score should I use?

<p>I have taken the ACT twice. My intended major is Biomedical engineering. The schools I'm applying to are San Diego, Davis, Berkeley, Irvine and Cal Poly. The problem I'm having is that both come out to the same UC score (composite + writing). Since the UC application only allows you to send in one score, I'm unsure of which I should use. Is the lower science score on my app worth having higher math score? How heavily is writing weighted? Please help. </p>

<p>Wow, this is a tough one. I am going to leave this to the math/engg folks. My gut instinct is to go with the higher composite score (32) because the science score is so low on the other one it appears like an obvious outlier.</p>
