Which AP do I take?

Hi I'm a junior in high school and I just transferred so I don't know much about the teachers. I have already decided I'm going to take AP language but I can't decide whether or not I should take AP US history with it or AP Psychology.

Generally, AP US History is considered a rather difficult AP, while AP Psych is considered one of the easier APs. The real question though is, which are you more interested in? And to a lesser extent, what do you want to major in?

Depends on if you want to challenge yourself, US history is a lot harder than psych. AP psych is considered one of the easiest AP classes out there. I have not taken either but at my school APUSH is a lot of reading and note taking and AP psych is hard as a class but not as hard as APUSH. And when it comes to the AP test, people do way better on Psych.

I’m still trying to figure out what I want to be and I’m not really getting anywhere. I think psychology sounds more interesting to me but I figured I already had to take US history anyway as honors so why not try AP. Do you think the workload would be too diffucult between AP US history and AP lang plus a job, a sport, and volunteering?

dude, you’re double posting.

I loved APUSH,and it’s closer to my career interests, but it was difficult. My school only allows it to be taken sophomore year when no other APs are an option. Do what interests you.

In my school APUSH was a ton of work. We don’t have an AP Psychology class, I can’t tell you much about that. It really comes down to your interests and how good the teachers are.
