These are all the AP exams I am taking this year. Please rate from the hardest to easiest so I know just how much I need to study for each. And please share why that particular exam was so hard and what I should do to prepare for it.
I’ve taken physics 1 and its pretty easy, just give yourself a minimum of 2-3 months to study and use 5 steps to a 5 in addition to ap physics 1 essentials as prep books. and even though i didnt take computer science a, i heard barrons is all that you need and definitely some basic programming knowledge.
I don’t think there’s any absolute easiest or hardest; it’s all about your strengths. Try doing some practice questions from prep books based on the material you’ve covered and spend more time on the subjects you’re getting the most questions wrong in.
Statistically speaking, chemistry has been generally the hardest AP exam of all of them. However, in the 2014-2015 AP cycle, AP Physics 1 had the lowest percent of people getting a 5 (4.1%), followed by English Literature, followed by Physics 2. Generally, Psychology has been the easiest exam of all.
That being said, @studeam is right. It all depends on your strengths and weaknesses. If you’re an English person, you could end up getting a 5 on Lit and a 2 on Psych.
Due to that, I think it’s best if you rank that list yourself. For you, which of the subjects would you have the easiest time in? The hardest? That’s how you’ll get the best answer
human geo was incredibly easy, as long as you know some key terms you should be fine for the exam. The curve is set up so you can get like a 70% and still get a 5.
I’ve taken many AP tests and for the most part, they are easy if you’ve read the review book (Barron’s preferably). However, the one test that I did not get a 5 on was English Language. You can’t simply read a review book and get a 5 on that test. That is why I would rank it the most difficult.
