Hardest AP exam?

Which AP exam is the hardest? My guidance counselor said it was Language and Composition (I'm in the class), followed by Biology or Chemistry. Also, what review books are best for AP lang?

All the AP exams are around the same difficulty. Not one is significantly harder than the other. It depends on what kind of person you are. If you're a math geek, you might find AP Calc to be the easiest while AP Lang to to the most difficult. So it depends which subject you enjoy the most.

lil K is correct. It's really what's hardest for you, i.e., which subjects are more challenging for you. It also depends on the teacher....some are just better than others in preparing kids for the test. If the teacher is not having a great year for whatever reason, then you need to self-study more....

my teacher is ridiculously hard. we've got 25 kids in our class, and she says that normally 2 kids per marking period get an A, and that around 10 get C's. I hope that this will help me prepare well for the exam, but i'm feeling very unsure.

I would say that Literature or Calc BC is the hardest. Also Biology is pretty easy. I saw some of the material in the Princeton Review Book and it looked pretty easy.

I hear that Physics C E&M is pretty hard, and that spanish got harder from last year when they changed it.

I hate English, but I thought the AP lang exam was cake. I took it with no review. However...it does have one of the lowest percentages of 5's (7%ish I think), which is probably what your counselor is talking about when she says difficulty. I personally thought Calc BC was much harder, but those who take it tend to be very well prepared so nearly half of test-takers get 5's on it.

good point
